Whether you’re new to betting house betting or a gambling veteran, black jack is 1 of the easiest and most exciting card games casinos have to provide. The objective in blackjack is to best the croupier by getting a hand value as close to 21 as possible while not going over. To play black jack, you only require a general understanding of the game rules and a ambition to experience excitement.

So how do you achieve twenty one? In chemin de fer, the cards have values. Numbered cards two through 10 are valued at the number printed on the card, while all face cards (King, Queen and Jack) are valued at ten points. The ace is a special card in black jack: you decide whether it’s worth 1 or 11 points. Since casino players are given 2 cards to begin, if you are given an ace and a ten valued card, you have 21-an immediate success, as long as the dealer doesn’t get twenty one at the same time. This twocard winning hand is called a "blackjack"; hence the name of the game!

Casino rules for black jack are essentially similar at all casinos. After you are given your initial two cards, your choices are to take another card, stay with your first 2 cards, double down, split your hand into 2 hands with a second wager equal to the first, or occasionally bow out.

When you participate in black jack at a casino, be sure to know which table to choose. Most betting houses have color coded blackjack tables according to the min wager the table accepts, usually $3, five dollars, $25 or one hundred dollars. In any casino, it is a certainty the three dollar and 5 dollar tables will be crowded, but they’re fantastic for novices at chemin de fer because all of the cards are distributed face-up, unlike the 1up, one-down way at higher tables. So the upcoming time-or the first instanceyou goto a casino, make a stop at the blackjack tables and target for 21!
